About Dr. Mogavero
Dr. Mogavero earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering as well as his dental degree (D.D.S.) from UCLA, graduating with honors from both programs. For his full-time orthodontic specialty training, Dr. Mogavero chose Baylor College of Dentistry, in Dallas, Texas, one of the country’s leading and most progressive programs. A holder of two Master’s degrees, Dr. Mogavero was a leader in dental school, where he served as Class President for two years. Dr. Mogavero has co-authored a textbook chapter on orthognathic surgery and surgical orthodontics. He has served for five years as a clinical professor for post-doctorate residents in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Mogavero is active in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association (ACPA). He has been selected as an expert witness in a number of orthodontic cases. Dr. Mogavero is also active in the community, and in youth sports. As a specialist, Dr. Frank Mogavero focuses his practice exclusively on the alignment of teeth and facial bones.
